These Subscription Terms describe how Booktime Premium is billed, renewed, and cancelled. They form part of our Terms & Conditions. Booktime is developed by AnyDev ("we", "us", or "our").
A Booktime Premium subscription unlocks unlimited listening across the whole catalogue, with no interruptions, for as long as the subscription is active. Specific benefits are described in the App at the point of purchase and may change over time; where a change materially reduces what you receive, we will tell you in advance.
Premium is offered on several billing periods — typically monthly, quarterly, and annual. The exact plans, prices, and currency shown to you come from the Apple App Store or Google Play and depend on your country and store account. The price displayed in the App at the moment of purchase is the price that applies.
Longer plans are billed as a single up-front payment for the whole period, not monthly. Where the App shows a "per month" figure for a longer plan, it is a comparison to help you judge value, not a monthly charge.
Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
Your subscription renews automatically. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, it renews for another period of the same length and your account is charged the then-current price. Renewal charges are taken within 24 hours before the period ends.
We never charge your card ourselves — all billing is handled by the store you purchased through.
Where a free trial or introductory price is offered, its length and conditions are shown before you confirm the purchase. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts automatically into a paid subscription at the standard price. Trials and introductory offers are generally limited to one per user per platform, and eligibility is determined by Apple or Google, not by us.
Cancel through the store that sold you the subscription — we cannot cancel it for you:
The App links to both of these from Settings → My subscription.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end the period you have already paid for: you keep Premium until that period expires, and you are not charged again after it.
We may change subscription prices. Any change applies to periods beginning after the change, never retroactively. Where the law requires it, Apple or Google will ask for your consent before charging a higher price, and if you do not consent your subscription will simply not renew.
Refunds are handled by the store that processed your payment, under its own policy — not by us. Requests go to Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or to Google Play support.
Statutory rights still apply on top of the store's policy. If you are a consumer in Peru, the Código de Protección y Defensa del Consumidor (Ley N.° 29571) governs your relationship with us, and you may take a complaint to INDECOPI. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services; by starting to listen during that period you may be asked to acknowledge that you lose it once the service has been fully performed, as permitted by EU consumer law. Neither of these affects your other statutory rights.
If you reinstall the App or sign in on another device, use Settings → My subscription → Restore purchases to reattach an existing subscription to your account. Restoring only works with the same Apple or Google account that made the original purchase.
Your Premium entitlement is linked to your Booktime account and to the store account that paid for it. Deleting your Booktime account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it in the store first, or you will keep being charged.
